This site does not have comments, user accounts, or a login system, so it does not set the cookies or collect the data associated with those features.

The one place this site collects personal data is the email-capture form on each eBook page, provided by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), a third-party email marketing platform. If you fill in one of these forms, the first name, last name, and email address you enter are submitted directly to Kit, not stored by this site, in order to send you the eBook you requested and add you to the relevant mailing list.

Kit's own script (loaded from f.convertkit.com) may set cookies or use similar technology as part of operating that form and mailing list. Kit's privacy policy, which governs how it processes this data, is available at https://kit.com/privacy.

Embedded content from other websites

Some pages on this site embed YouTube videos (for example, on the Speaking page). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if you had visited that website directly — YouTube may collect data about you, use cookies, and monitor your interaction with the embedded video, including if you have a Google account and are logged in.

How long we retain your data

Data submitted through an eBook form is retained by Kit in accordance with Kit's own privacy policy and Marco's use of the Kit platform, until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be removed.

What rights you have over your data

If you have submitted an eBook form, you can unsubscribe using the link in any email you receive from Kit, or you can contact Marco directly (see the Contact page) to request that your data be corrected or erased.
